Strung Rooster White-Dyed Schlappen Feathers approximately 5.5-7.5 inches long x 1 yard unit are strung (sewn) together near the top of each quill. Rooster schlappen (body) feathers are thicker than saddles or hackle feathers (ranging 1/2-3/4 inch wide), and are more rounded at the tip. Schlappen feathers are soft flexible feathers, and fluffy near the quill. This variety of schlappen identified as White-Dyed Schlappen is naturally white. When dyed, these feathers are bright, vivid colors.
