Rooster Schlappen-Dyed Ginger 1YD Aquamarine

Strung Rooster Ginger Schlappen Feathers approximately 4-6 inches long x 1 yard unit are strung (sewn) together near the tip of each quill. Rooster schlappen (body) feathers are thicker than saddles or hackle feathers (ranging .50-.75" inch wide), and are more rounded at the tip. Schalappen feathers soft flexible feathers, and fluffy near the quill. This variety of schlappen identified Ginger Schlappen will range in color from natural creamy white and ivory, with 1/2 reddish-brown color tones. This particular item has been slight degraded, or bleached, then dyed to give the feather a solid, but dimensional coloration.
