Loose Goose Biot Feathers Dyed are approximately 6-8 inches long are narrow, hard, but flexible feathers about .25 inches wide. Our 1/4 lb of goose feathers are dyed, have a mix of colors, and yield about 500 pieces. When dyed, these feathers absorb a lot of deep, vibrant coloration. Biot feathers can also be curled or bent in a circle, which make the stiff fibers appear as sharp, jagged points. These feathers tend to be more curled when purchased as "loose", and straighter when they are "strung" together.
